Spent our first night in the lower48 in Winthrop Washington after driving through the Cascades.  Last night was spent at a very nice KOA outside of Glacier National Park in Montana.

Made it to Washington…cross country begins!

Made it to Juneau, the dogs have been ran, given some food and water, and I’m going back to bed! Next port is around 9am tomorrow.

Map is placed on the RV and ready to start tracking!

We’ve had a great time so far. We’ve camped with a view of a glacier, driven the Yukon, stopped at some great turn outs, and have seen some of the most beautiful scenery in the world! The Moose is from the stretch of road between the US and Canada boarder, around 20 miles. Jamie went up the ladder on the back of the RV for better shots from the roof!

We are currently in Haines Alaska, 40 miles inland of Canada and the Yukon. The camp is called “The Haines Hitch-Up”, it’s really nice with laundry, showers, a dog walk, and all grass sites.

Tomorrow we get on the ferry around 6pm Alaska time and head for Washington.

 

Made it to Hains! The Yukon was great, road had some frost heaves but nothing bad. Great weather, mostly sunny with a few showers. Hopefully we’ll get some pics posted tomorrow!

Kodiak to Homer, Homer to Grand View Lodge and RV Park, Grand View to Tok…It’s been fun, enjoy the pics!

 

Made it to Tok…90 miles from the Canadian border. Hopefully will get some pics up tonight!
